Amelia Maria Canilho
On February 8 we were blessed to hold a celebration of life event here at for Amélia. Please join us now in celebrating her love for life and her beautiful art which we are proud to be able to display. Amélia started painting when she was diagnosed with cancer over two years ago. Amélia always focused on the positive and continued to find ways to shift difficult events to the good. She continues to bless us now and we are grateful to have been part of her life.

Wendy Michelle Cooper
Brenda Burgett
Julie Rohn
After serving as an art professor, gallery director, and
museum curator, Wendy was led to the beauty of Door
County, where she currently creates a variety of fine art,
including ceramics, cyanotype, landscape photography,
watercolors, indigo-dyed textiles, and art, inspired by the
flora and fauna of Door County at her studio The Wildflower
Press. Wendy holds an MFA from the Savannah College of
Art and Design.
Brenda Burgett has always had an eye for seeing the beauty in the small details. She has had a successful career as an interior designer
for over 30 years and has had the pleasure to help her clients create their own beautiful and comfortable Haven.
Brenda began painting when she was a little girl. She recalls the days her Mom and she would visit art museums and when her Mom
would take her to her painting classes. Brenda has always loved art, and painting has always been her passion.
Julie Rohn was born and raised in Milwaukee. In her youth she excelled at art, as a young adult she participated in art classes at community art centers. In the late 1990's she had her first showing of pastel work at Charlene's Gallery Ten in Gills Rock.
Julie took a break from fine art and focused on a career in performance art from the early 2000's to 2020. During that time, Julie learned oil and acrylic painting at the Bloomington Center for the Arts in Minneapolis, MN. She now shows her work at Articipation Studio and Gallery in Sturgeon Bay and resides in Sister Bay, WI.
